Dr. Morgan Van Vliet grew up on Vancouver Island in beautiful Port Alberni. After receiving her Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology from Vancouver Island University, she went on to graduate with honors and receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon in 2020.

Dr. Morgan was first introduced to chiropractic after getting treated for soccer injuries as a teen, and has seen how chiropractic care can help individuals in all walks of life. As a member of the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA) Dr. Morgan has a passion for treating infants and children of all ages. Dr. Morgan also holds certification in Webster Technique. Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment, performed with the foal of reducing SI joint dysfunction. This technique can be used on anyone but may be particularly useful during pregnancy.

A typical treatment with Dr. Morgan will consist of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue manipulation, and advice for at-home stretches and exercises. Dr. Morgan aims to make the chiropractic experience a positive one for everyone, offering a gentle, non-intimidating approach with clear communication and explanations.

Dr. Cheema is a Chiropractor who graduated with a dual degree in Honors at the University of Western States located in Portland, Oregon. She began her educational stream completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology and practiced as a licensed Kinesiologist. She has worked diligently to perfect her understanding of the human body focusing on the biomechanics of movement. Within practice her interest in diagnosing and learning more about spinal health created a deeper curiosity. She then decided to pursue further education in which she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine alongside a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Cheema has a genuine interest in education and promotes patient education as she believes it is the key to understanding your own individualized body.

Treatment is constructed under a whole health perspective where each individual is given a customized care plan based on their biomechanics. Along with spinal manipulation, Dr. Cheema focuses a strong emphasis on myofascial release, nutrition, lifestyle and mental health. With an interest in headaches and TMJ, Dr. Cheema is expanding her focus on women’s health, pregnancy and hormonal imbalances.

When she is not treating patients, you can find Dr. Cheema focusing on her own self-care. As a new-found Yogi, Dr. Cheema engages in hot yoga to promote muscle and joint health. Alongside her yoga routine she engages in a vigorous strength and conditioning style training to maintain her physical and mental health. She believes it is important to practice what you preach to create a stronger relation with her patients, promoting living an active lifestyle.

Dr. Meghan Soni is a chiropractor specializing in women’s health and rehabilitation. She brings a holistic approach to care, combining manual therapy, active rehab, and lifestyle modification.

She specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including:

• Pregnancy-related discomfort

• Pre/peri/post-natal concerns
